Your photos should feel like you.

Not overly posed. Not forced. Just honest, natural, and full of the moments that matter most. That's the experience I've built my entire approach around — and it starts with who I am behind the camera.

Behind the lens

Ally, San Diego wedding and portrait photographer, smiling and holding a camera on her shoulder, standing in front of green foliage.

Outside of photography, my world revolves around the people I love most. I recently married my husband, Lewis, and together we’re raising the sweetest five-year-old girl — they’re at the center of everything I do.

Because of that, I don’t just photograph these moments — I feel them.

I know how quickly a season can pass. How the smallest, quietest moments end up meaning the most. And how important it is to have something real to look back on — not just how it looked, but how it felt to be there.

A family of three enjoying time outdoors in a forest during the fall, with sunlight streaming through the trees. The man is holding a young girl, and the woman is standing close beside them, all smiling.

Ally, owner of Seagrave Photography, smiling while walking outdoors on a sidewalk, surrounded by lush green plants and trees, holding a camera in her right hand.
I’ve been behind the camera for over 12 years, and what’s kept me here isn’t just a love for photography — it’s a love for people.

The way you reach for each other without thinking.
The energy on a packed dance floor.
The deep breath before walking down the aisle.

Those are the moments I’m always watching for.

My approach is calm, intuitive, and a little playful.

I pay attention to the in-between moments — the ones you don’t even realize are happening.

I’ll step in when it matters, and step back when it doesn’t, so you can be fully present in your day instead of performing for it.

A woman and a young girl hold hands and walk through a flower garden. The woman wears a dark dress and the girl wears a white dress. They look at each other smiling, surrounded by colorful flowers and pink flowering vines.

When I’m not behind the lens, I’m usually with my family or at our kickboxing gym, 9Round, which I own with my husband.

It’s a completely different environment, but at the core, it’s the same thing I love most — connecting with people, helping them feel confident, and creating a space where they can just be themselves.

If this feels like your kind of experience, I’d love to hear your story.
