Coronado Island Elopement with Downtown San Diego Skyline | Paulina & Peter

There’s something really special about elopements that keep things simple, intentional, and centered on what matters most—and Paulina and Peter’s day on Coronado Island was exactly that.

With around 20 of their closest family members gathered by the water, their San Diego elopement felt intimate, relaxed, and full of meaning from the very start.

We kicked things off with portraits of the two of them alongside their stunning black Porsche (which honestly couldn’t have been a more perfect addition). It added such a fun, personal touch and set the tone for the rest of the day—effortless, stylish, and completely them.

Afterward, we made our way over to their ceremony spot along Coronado Island, where the downtown San Diego skyline created the dreamiest backdrop across the bay. Before the ceremony officially began, we spent some time capturing a few more portraits in that space—letting them soak it all in, take a breath together, and ease into the moment.

The weather was beautiful, and the whole setting felt calm, open, and incredibly special.

One of the most meaningful parts of the day was having Paulina’s twin sister officiate the ceremony. There’s just something different about being married by someone who knows you so deeply—it made the entire experience feel even more personal and emotional.

Paulina and Peter chose to write and share their own vows, and it was one of those moments where everything else fades away. You could feel how present everyone was, soaking in every word and every emotion.

After the ceremony, we took a few more family portraits and ended with some additional photos of just the two of them.

Their day was such a beautiful reminder that elopements don’t have to mean just the two of you—they can still include your people while keeping the focus on connection, intention, and the experience itself.
