Intimate Couples Session at Tivoli Wedding Venue in Fallbrook, California
Couples portraits don’t have to be limited to your wedding day.
Whether it’s before the big day, after everything has settled, or simply at a time that feels more relaxed, creating space just for the two of you can completely change the experience.
For this session, Sarah and Justin chose to return to Tivoli and spend a couple of hours documenting their connection in a way that felt natural and unhurried.
Tivoli is such a charming space for photos, with so many different areas to work with. From open pathways to tucked-away corners, every spot offered something a little different, which made the session feel easy and natural as we moved from one location to the next.
Without the timeline pressure of a wedding day, everything felt slower and more present. Sarah and Justin were able to just be together, laugh, move, and settle into the moment—something that can be hard to fully experience on an actual wedding day.
One of the sweetest parts of the session was that they brought their dog along, complete with his own little tuxedo collar. It added such a fun, personal touch, and having him there made everything feel even more relaxed and true to them.
This session was such a good reminder that your wedding photos don’t have to be the only time you document this season of your life. You can always come back, revisit the place where it all started, and create something that feels even more aligned with you.
If you’re considering doing something similar—whether it’s returning to your wedding venue or planning a dedicated couples session—this is your sign that it’s absolutely worth it.
